Celebrate the magic of the holidays with The Nutcracker!

Roswell Cultural Arts presents Atlanta Dance Theatre’s ‘The Nutcracker’. This timeless classic has become a tradition in the North Atlanta area delighting audiences young and old, choreographed by Artistic Director, Shelley Grames.

So, journey back in time to a festive Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum’s home under their fabulous Christmas tree. The party is grand especially for Clara who receives a beautiful Nutcracker from her Godfather Drosselmeyer. But when the clock strikes midnight strange things begin to happen. Clara and her Nutcracker Prince battle the Rat Queen, travel through the magical snow forest and enjoy the amazing, confectionary celebration with the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Land of Sweets. Is it magic or all just a dream?

This timeless tradition fills the stage with colorful costumes and beautiful sets. In the production, they’ll be complimented by the high caliber, professional guest artists; Robert Chabot, Lonnie Davis, Jonah Hooper, Eric Nash, and Fox 5’s Paul Milliken and Joanne Feldman!

Tritone Orchestras Present: Castle In The Sky: A Symphonic Concert

This musical performance is a beautiful adventure rooted in the colorful film music of Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle). Featuring the amazing talents from Music by Tritone’s Youth Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Community Orchestra, this show is fit to fill the big screen. Transporting listeners beyond Studio Ghibli fan favorites, the orchestras will explore the jazz and classical inspirations of composer Joe Hisaishi. In addition to music from Japan and arguably the best animation studio in the world, the listener will bask in the romantic music of Ravel and Faure, jazz standards such as Autumn Leaves, and many more beloved classics.

Ominous Crook, the evilest bad guy of all evil bad guys, is up to no good when he tries to stop Christmas by stealing Santa Claus’ mail! It’s up to our wayward hero, Super Megazoid Man to set things right in this hilarious, original story full of colorful puppets of favorite holiday characters and presented by David Stephens of All Hands Productions. The audience will help David and his friend, Norbert learn about the various steps in the letter writing process as they craft a letter to Santa.

Enjoy this Halloween treat for adults and experience the excitement of being in the audience of a spine-tingling radio/podcast recording. Our story is set In feudal Japan, where an ill wind blows. One which can raise an army of the Living Dead! The rotting corpses of Lord Yunagi have their undead sights set on the small farming town of Kana, which is unfortunately in the path of ultimate conquest. Can disgraced Samurai Kambe and Seven Zombie Hunters train the villagers to defeat the insatiable ghouls to the horde and unravel their mystery before all is lost? This event will be performed in the intimate B-side theatre and will feature a live Foley artist alongside the top voice actors in the region.
